PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Rhode Island State Police say they'll be

on the lookout for drunken drivers during the July Fourth weekend.

The police say they'll have extra patrols targeting speeders,

seat belt violators, aggressive drivers and motorists who appear

drunk.

They say the July Fourth weekend is the second deadliest holiday

period nationwide, behind the New Year's Day holiday.

The police are asking people to dial 911 or ``star 77'' on their

cell phones to report a suspected drunken driver.
